A helping hand for the 389th
15/10/14 - Members of the American Air Force have been assisting the 389th Bomb Memorial Group by rebuilding a Nissen hut
Crew members, based at RAF Lakenheath have generously given their time to assist in the rebuild of another Nissen hut for the 389th Bomb Memorial Group.
As a thank you, Classic Team Lotus was pleased to invite the crew over to the workshop to take a look around
During the Second World War the 389th Heavy Bombardment Group 2nd Air Division of the US Air Force were based in Hethel, which today is the headquarters of Classic Team Lotus and Lotus Cars.
