The Classic Team Lotus workshops are at Hethel, opposite the Lotus Cars’ factory. Team Lotus was based here in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s before moving to Ketteringham Hall.
The Directors of Classic Team Lotus are Mrs Hazel Chapman and Mr Clive Chapman.
Clive Chapman BSc(Eng);
son of Lotus founder Colin Chapman, Clive is fully committed to the preservation and promotion of the Team Lotus racing history of which he enjoyed such an exciting and unique perspective.
Steve Allen;
Accountant. With Team Lotus since the Fittipaldi days. Dealing principally with administrative and financial matters. Steve ensures an efficiency of operation that benefits all Classic Team Lotus customers.
Lee Nicol;
joined Classic Team Lotus in 2000 as trainee since when his broad range of abilities has proved very valuable. His support of the experienced F1 mechanics ensures the best use of their time and Lee is beginning to maintain cars.
Bob Dance;
with Team Lotus in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s Bob is keeping up the average by spending time with Classic Team Lotus to make it five decades of racing with the Team Lotus marque
Roger Yallop;
whenever we get asked we like to try and help all Team Lotus car owners with parts. Roger is a very experienced ‘buyer’ who also will free up some of the Team Manager’s time.
Tim Gardiner;
joined us from the local Ford dealership. Tim is training to become a mechanic, under the guidance of his experienced Team Lotus colleagues, who enjoy helping him to learn.
Jake Baker;
recent school leaver Jake is the Workshop Assistant; he helps in every department of the company and is enthusiastic and dependable.

Chris Dinnage;
Team Manager who has been with Lotus since 1979. Chris was a number one mechanic for Senna. He was Team Manager for the Elise Championship. His significant competitions experience is invaluable.
Nick Yallop;
with Team Lotus since 1981. Nick was a composites technician manufacturing all of the early composite chassis. Then he joined the race team for the Senna era and beyond.
Kevin Smith;
since joining Classic Team Lotus in 1999 Kevin has developed into an experienced mechanic responsible for running cars in his own right. Also fulfils the role of ensuring that the transporter is fully equipped.
Martin Ogilvie;
head of the Team Lotus drawing office for much of the 80s, generously acts as consultant to the team regarding technical matters.
Lewis Cullington;
served his apprenticeship at a local garage and joined the team in 2006. Lewis adapted quickly to the demands of motor sport; a confident and able member of the race team.
Tom Morfoot;
started at the beginning of 2007 to maintain the required level of workshop support as we restore and run more and more cars. Tom is following in the footsteps of Kevin and Lee.
Sapphire Nichols;
joined us in September 2008 to fulfill the role of Office Administrator. Sapphire will be regularly updating the website and increasing our merchandising activities.
